Wish Granted: Distress ink watercolouring - day 2

Hi,
As promised  a couple more samples using Poupette's watercolouring technique explained yesterday.
Today, Chris Dark and Ria are your two fairies

For the first sample, Ria used the beautiful Cosmic Shimmer embossing powders
To make this card, Ria used:
Ranger distress ink
Cosmic shimmer Aurora embossing powder: Lapis Black

*****

Fairy Chris has made this beautiful sample.
Here's what she had to say about it:
I stamped, embossed and water coloured the image as per Poupette's tutorial and after drying I ironed off the clear embossing powder by placing the image between two sheets of printer paper and ironing with a dry iron (no steam) until the embossing powder was removed. For those or you who don't know this technique, it's called Faux Batik.
Background paper was made by inking white card with the distress and Eco green Paris Trunk inks then embossing with the Craft Concepts embossing folder. I then sprayed the card with some Moonlight White Brilliance re-inker diluted with water in a mini mister and dried with a heat tool. The stitch effect embossing was highlighted with walnut stain distress ink as were the edges of all the layers. I coloured the ribbon using mini misters and mixtures of the distress ink re-inkers and water with a little walnut stain ink sponged over here and there whilst still wet to give a vintage look.
