Welcome to our last days for the paper and Ribbon scraps Wish Granted with
Chris and
Isa are sharing their techniques and projects with you.
Don't forget about our challenge which will be posted shortly after this post.
Firsts of all, let's finish the "scraps of paper" techniques series with Isasart's project.

Here's the paper scrap and stamp that I will use for my project
First I stamp the image on the printed paper
Tip: I used a colour ink similar to the paper shades so that, if I make a mistake whilst cutting, it will hardly show
I highlight some details with a white pen
I stamp the little girl again on another scrap of paper
I glued "clothes" on the second stamped image and cut her out
I use the remaining scraps of paper as a background paper
Here is the finished card

Now the wish was for scraps of paper AND ribbon, so Chris came up with a fantastic sample and step-by-step. I can't wait to try it out myself.
Here it goes, you won't look at your ribbons left overs the same way from now on ;)

For a quick and easy Valentine, Anniversary or love card and a way to use up ribbon scraps you'll need a card blank, a piece of card cut slightly smaller than the card blank embossed with the Crafts Too embossing folder and die cut using the Spellbinders Nestability heart. A button threaded with a scrap of cotton, a half pearl to match ribbon scraps, double sided tape, a sponge applicator and walnut stain distress ink, a red pen, dimension tape.
Take the card blank and use the heart die cut piece to gauge where on the card to place the double sided tape. Apply the tape to the card blank making sure there's enough overlap under the heart and start to apply the ribbon scraps to the sticky double sided tape.
Apply the ribbon over the entire area of double sided tape and check that everything looks OK by popping the die cut card piece over the top to check there are no areas of glue or white card showing.
Ink the edges of the card blank, the die cut heart card piece around the edges and also around the die cut edge with the sponge applicator and walnut stain distress ink.
Apply dimension tape to the back of the die cut piece and attach to the card.
Place the button and a half pearl and red pen dots can be added around the heart and edge of the embossed piece.
Et voilà
