Christmas Animals

Christmas Animals

Hi Everyone!

How're you doing?  Hope
all is well in your world and
everyone is wearing a smile

Here's Angela Radford with
a a lovely card that is sure to
bring out the festiveness
in everyone:

"Hi all, hope you are managing to
 get your Christmas cards made.

I have an idea here for you but
I warn you this is not a quick card
but hope you like it.

Start with an A4 sheet of card or water
colour paper and stamp using clear ink and
emboss with white powder.

Next we'll start to add the colour using
Distress Oxide inks. I used Wilted Violet
 and Worn Lipstick.
Spray this with a little water.

Smoosh it on and dry between colours.

Once this is dry rub over gently with a
dry cloth which will clean off the ink from
 the white embossing.

Using the same stamp and matching colours,
stamp again until you are satisfied with
the finish of the Masterboard.

Rub over again with the dry cloth
which will make the stamping appear
 to be behind the embossing.

Prepare the pieces next to make a double
Z fold card. Turn the card over and mark on
the back the sizes you need to cut out.
I used a 6x6 card blank but did trim these
pieces a little before completing the card.

For this card you will need a strip to go
across the bottom of the card, I cut one just
under half the width of the square card
and full length. Score as shown here.

Then score the main card blank as shown
here to create the Z.

Cut the Masterboard along the lines.

Trim the pieces to fit

At this stage I made my stamped images
using ElenaZinski Christmas stamps.
Stamp, colour and cut these out.

 Baubles too

Stamp the baubles and sentiment on the
masterboard pieces then mount the sections
with coloured card onto the card blank

Now is the time to mount all the images.
I used a pen to draw the lines that join
the baubles together. I have also grounded
the animals with a little shadow using
ink with a brush.

A little glaze and Stickles glitter glue
completes the design.

Just a last look at a slightly different angle.

Happy crafting, Angela xXx

Paper Artsy Christmas stamps:

That's a super card and really
makes me smile!
Thank you Angela

Have a great day everyone
and enjoy all that you do

'Till tomorrow

Mickie xx
